Sharon Berschwinger

I have been teaching at the primary level for fifteen years. I have taught both kindergarten and first grade. I am most recently a reading specialist.

I believe that all students can successfully learn to read if given the right materials! Students will love to read my basic repetitive poetry because they will actually find success! Students will also love retelling stories using hand motions because it is fun and engaging!

I am currently awaiting publication of my first book entitled, "Leveled Primary Poetry".

I attended Cornell University majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. I have my Masters Degree in Reading from SUNY Albany.

I am married to Christopher, a P.E. teacher and football coach. We have two beautiful sons, Troy and Travis. We live in Guilderland, New York. We enjoy vacationing in Cape Cod and spending time with family and friends.
