TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in education for ten years at the high school level. I am certified in English (8-12), Communications Applications (8-12), and ESL Supplemental. I have taught English, Speech (Communications), future-readiness and college prep classes. I wrote the district curriculum on a future-readiness class that is used for five high schools. I am no longer a teacher and have transitioned into the Administration world as an Associate Principal of Curriculum & Instruction at a 6A High School. Being an Associate Principal is completely different than the classroom, but I'm so glad I get to be in a position of service in education. I miss the teaching, but love to still put lesson plan ideas on my TPT account. Associate Prinicpal resources coming soon!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is personable and connection-based. I think classroom management happens naturally when my students know that I care about them as people and not just another number.
