TEACHING EXPERIENCE

As a veteran teacher of 15 years, I have taught secondary school to both students and adults. Currently I teach grades 11 and 12. Teachers really need the support, mentorship and ideas of other teachers. To that end, I have been President of the English Language Arts Council of the Alberta Teachers Association, and District Secondary ELA Consultant with my board. I enjoy conferences, working with publishers and the development of new curricula. After all, English rocks!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Striving to find new ways to teach great concepts, I try to find hands-on and creative approaches to the study of English Language Arts.
