After years as a professional research astronomer, I switched to science and interdisciplinary education 9 years ago. I've taught at all levels from elementary children through college and graduate school in areas as diverse as science, art and soccer. I love helping students find connections between subjects to see how all knowledge is interrelated. I also lead teacher professional development. I develop and write high-quality curriculum with an emphasis on hands-on activities.
My teaching style is very interactive and I encourage hands-on learning in all subjects.
