My journey as an educator began when I first started teaching 3rd grade in 1999 in a transitional bilingual classroom! Since then I have been a Title 1 Bilingual Resource teacher supporting English Learners and teachers and I am currently teaching 5th grade. I have a BA in Spanish and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. I work in a multilingual community and I strive to honor students' heritage in the classroom. I value bilingualism and I am a mother of two daughters who are attending a Spanish Immersion school.
I aim to help striving students who need intervention and scaffolds in order to grow. My goal is to create engaging and relevant resources that inspire teachers, parents, and students.
