SBAC PARCC TCAP and National Year End Assessments

I recently worked with the Director of Smarter Balanced in aligning SBAC Test Questions to the California Digital Library, and I just authored the SBAC Test-Prep Math 6 Book for Barron's Book Company. I have been teaching Middle School Math for over 23 years. I recently was hired as a Math Instructional Coach. Over the last 4 years I worked with the State of California on the Middle School Math Adoption, I was part of the team that set the achievement levels for the SBAC Summative Assessment, I have written and reviewed resources for the Smarter Balanced Digital Library, and I have created intervention programs and assessments that have drastically improved student scores over the years.

I ran a problem-based classroom, where students work in groups 3-4 days of the week. The engaging problems and activities, that I have created are a hit every day of the week. Students are asked to critically think about the math on a daily basis, and share out their ideas and methods in daily discussions. This style really helps my students when they see the types of questions that are required on the SBAC Summative Assessment. Now that I am coaching, I hope to share all of my expertise with teachers and students in my new district.

I was the February, Featured State Network Educator for the Smarter Balanced Digital Library. I am a distinguished State Network Educator for the Smarter Balanced Digital Library. I have been chosen by 3 different schools as their Teacher of the Month. My Smarter Balanced 6th Grade Math Test-Prep Book through Barron's Book Company is currently being sold online or at your nearest book store.

Masters in Math 5-9. Bachelors of Science in Finance. Over 500 hours alone of Common Core related professional development. Trained as a state Smarter Balanced Scorer by ETS. Over 90 units of Math through the UCLA Math Project. Item-Writer for the SBAC Summative Assessment.

For the past 5-6 years, all of my colleagues have pushed me to publish all of the great assessments that I have written. The tests, that you will download, are benchmarks that are written specifically to aid your students with either the PARCC,SBAC, TCAP, or any other state test that assesses students on our national standards.
