S is for Super Teacher

I have always had a passion for teaching that started in my teenage years, where I helped with many community events. After graduating from college I taught preschool at Primrose for three year and then first grade at a classical school. I had a desire to broaden my teaching experience and learn more about interactive approaches to learning. So I pursued a masters in education, which focused on the Montessori philosophy. I taught at a Montessori school for three years. The school has a unique model, where I taught the core subjects to homeschool students. I loved partnering with parents to create a hands on and fun learning environment.

Students are my priority, I strive to create an environment that is welcoming, hands-on, and interactive. Each day should be filled with engaging and creative approaches to learning, so long to boring lectures and say hello to creativity and passion!

Hello Fellow Parents and Teachers~ I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am married to my wonderful husband for 3 years; we reside in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. We are thrilled to be raising two beautiful children! I have always had a love for sports and the outdoors; taking advantage of the many lakes, rivers, and trails that Minnesota offers. I try to make time to go fishing, boating, swimming, biking, and hiking with my family and friends.
