I taught 3rd grade in North Carolina for 14 years. I looped up with my last 3rd grade class and loved it so much that I decided to stay in 4th grade. This will be my 3rd year teaching 4th grade and my 1st year team teaching. It will be exciting only teaching ELA and Social Studies this year, but I'm sure I'll miss math and science. I love it all!
My teaching is standards-driven but flexible and fun. I love to use a variety of activities in a routine that works for the class I have each year. I enjoy learning new strategies and technology that I can use to better teach my students and meet them where they are.
