TEACHING EXPERIENCE

20 Years in high-school, middle-school and elementary school teaching, mostly as an art teacher. This year, I teach science to first-graders.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use my drawing and dramatic arts background to grab hold of my students' attention. I believe that enthusiasm is my greatest attribute.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

American Film Festival Award in documentary film. Two Effie Awards for advertising effectiveness. One Clio Award for an ad I wrote for the Arthritis Foundation. As a playwright, I've won entrance to the FringeNYC Festival two years ago as the author of a musical play The Seed of Abraham. I'm a published author: Rap-Notes: Shakespeare's Greatest Hits.

I have two Masters degrees-- one in Art and one in Education.
