My experience includes eight years of elementary and middle school teaching in three countries (Australia, Japan and the United States). I have mainly taught upper elementary in Catholic schools but have also taught, Japanese, music and drama to a variety of ages. I have also taught and tutored English to ESL learners as well as PSAT and SAT prep courses.
My personal philosophy and aspiration for my teaching practice has always been simple: support students on their learning journey. I strive to help develop students’ cognitive, social and emotional skills and to ensure they have a positive learning experience in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
