TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 7 and a half years in northern Illinois as a high school English teacher. I have worked with numerous remedial classes, in addition to regular education, and honors levels. I student taught in a classroom where the majority of my junior students were reading at elementary grade levels.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to have very interactive student based lessons that expose students to multiple different resources. I really like to incorporate pop culture into my lessons so students can experience English in real world application. I also love to tie history into my lessons because the two are inseparable in order to understand the works that we study.
