A statistical analysis, properly conducted, is a delicate dissection of uncertainties, a surgery of suppositions.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have spent the last 30+ years alternating between teaching mathematics and taking on assignments as a statistican; sometimes at the same time. Consequently, my favorite class to teach is Statistics! My two graduate degrees in statistics has led me to understand the concepts behind the mechanics. Unfortunately, I find many teachers, with only one statistics class in the college repertoire, feel a bit timid about teaching the subject. My goal is to provide these teachers of statistics with quality material I have used over the years to aid in teaching High School, and College level statistics courses, including AP Statistics.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a mixture of methods when I teach. I expect students to actually READ the textbook, use videos, animations, minimal presentation, hands-on, and projects. I like variety.
