TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My name is Mrs. Replogle, but my students call me Mrs. Rep. I have been teaching for almost 5 years now. I earned my teaching credential from California State University (CSU) Fullerton. My credential program and years of teaching thus far have placed a strong emphasis on the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). I have attended several trainings on incorporating NGSS into the classroom, and am involved in our district's committee for creating NGSS-aligned pacing guides and district assessments.

MY TEACHING STYLE

In my classroom I utilize a blend of science notebooking and digital learning experiences vis Google Classroom.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I earned my Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree in Biological Science from Cal State Fullerton (CSUF). My degree concentration was in Biodiversity, Ecology, and Conservation so I am very passionate about teaching these topics in my classroom.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Conducted ecological research on kangaroo rats in the Mojave Desert during my time at CSUF. BBC Earth Unplugged visited me in the desert to learn more about these well-adapted animals. See the video by clicking the quote image below my store name!
