TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my fifth year as a special education teacher! Previous to this I worked as a para-educator and substitute. I have had experience with students with Specific Learning Disabilities, Autism, Other Health Impairments, Emotional Disturbances and Intellectual Disabilities. My boyfriend is a music teacher! This is his 6th year teaching pre-k to 8th grade students general education music, band and chorus!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I facilitate small reading and math groups as well as support in the classroom. I have also co-taught writing, math and ELA classes at the 4th, 5th and 6th grade levels. I believe in teaching students reading strategies that they can transfer to the classroom. My husband teaches music classes, band and chorus.

I graduated college with a 4.0 GPA. I am on my school's leadership team as well as our instructional vision team for the district.

I graduated from Granite State College in New Hampshire in 2016 with my general education teaching certificate k-6 and special education teaching certificate k-8. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in English Language Arts.
