TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I teach 8th Grade English Language Arts and Creative Writing at Hmong College Prep Academy in St. Paul, MN. I have created a year of curriculum for both 8th grade English and 6th-8th grade Creative Writing.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach materials that are relevant to my students lives and materials that students can relate to. I also create activities that are meaningful and interactive. I like to have students practicing and learning through engaging conversation with one another rather than teacher lecturing. I also like to create activities that involve student movement. I like getting my kids up and moving around as often as I can.
