I have 29 years of teaching experience in AP Psychology in one of the largest schools and districts in Florida. I have 8 years experience with Cambridge psychology. I have also taught regular/ honors psychology and sociology. I have designed Canvas courses for Broward county schools. I won teacher of the year in 2020 and I have a passion for making the classroom a fun experience for all. I pride myself in making sure all students feel comfortable, happy and engaged in the subject matter. My focus is to apply psychology to life as well as getting students to pass the NATIONAL exam for college credit.
My teaching style is INTERACTIVE, HANDS ON and FUN. I especially LOVE cooperative group work, learning games, review games and FLIPPING the classroom. Commonly we engage is lecture/ discussion forums; however, I do integrate a variety of fun teaching methods to add to appeal to all styles of learning: visual, audio, kinesthetic.

Studied Social Studies education at FIU. Teaching certificate for 6-12 in Social Studies. Attended countless yearly trainings to improve skills.
I have been a teacher all my life. At the age of 13 I taught my first dance classes. That lead me to a career in LOVING teaching children of all ages. I taught dance for 15 years. I taught Pre-school age children for three years and HIGH SCHOOL. I work with children with autism as well as adults with autism.
