TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Taught foreign language (English) in Uruguay for 5 years. I have been a high school Spanish teacher in the US since 2011.

MY TEACHING STYLE

When I teach Spanish I follow a communicative approach. In my classes I use authentic materials as much as possible and the grammar is taught within a context that is relevant to the student's life. When planning my classes and units I use backwards design.

In 1996 I got my Bachelor's Degree in marketing in Uruguay. In 2014 I got my MAT - Masters of Art in Teaching Spanish from Salem State University (MA, USA).
