TEACHING EXPERIENCE

¡Hola a todos! I am an Online Spanish Teacher from Barcelona but currently, I am settled in Darmstadt, Germany (hallo leute). I am quite a passionate nerd about a lot of different topics. Lately, I cannot stop reading and learning about Emotional Labor, Cats, Bridgerton, Neurodiversity and Intercultural Competence -quite a mix, innit?-. And of course, I also love to teach and learn languages. Languages help people to connect, build stories and bring cultures together. Languages help us to move towards a more intercultural, global (and open-minded) future. Hopefully. I have been teaching remotely since 2020. I really enjoy this lifestyle (working from home). It means the world to me. Online education is an open door to strengthening educational equity and we must work to build it with pedagogy and quality. My professional and personal goal is to fight for the rights and working conditions of (online) foreign language teachers. What I have studied to be able to be your colleague? - Degree in Humanities (specialized in Literature) – UPF (2017). - Master ELE (Teaching: Spanish as a Foreign Language) – UB/UPF (2019). - Masters in Education and E-learning – UOC (currently).
