I have taught all levels from novice-low in 6th grade to Intermediate-high level at the university level. Most of my experience is at the high school level teaching students in Spanish 2- Advanced Placement Language and Culture, and my passion lies in fostering critical thinking, language confidence, and intercultural conscience in my students.

Proficiency-based instruction aligned with ACTFL standards., Scaffoling of authentic resources to foster critical thinking and intercultural conscience in language students, design of engaging Advanced Placement (AP) Spanish Language and Culture material, empowerment of students in their learning process through self-reflection and goal setting, Use of technology in the classroom to improve comprehension and increase engagement in the language classroom, Heritage Spanish with a language arts-based framework, implications of routines for teachers to make their lives easier and more efficient.
