With nearly eight years of experience, I have taught 6th through 12th grade English and French I and II. I began my career teaching at public and private middle schools in Baton Rouge. After moving back to my hometown, I taught 7th-12th grade English and French I and II for a whopping seven preps a day. My passions include reading great works of literature, the arts, technology, and teaching. I hope to bring you some amazing products and raise my own expectations for myself because great expectations make great teachers.
I believe in providing a positive, engaging, and structured teaching style that values students' feelings and sense of self. I know well-planned lessons lead to better classrooms, and there's not much a good procedure and some training can't fix. For every lesson, I do my best to dig deep and find ways to make it more interactive for my students. For me, building memories and raising the ceiling on how much these kids can learn are my main goals.
