TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have six years of physical education teaching experience and 3 years substitute teaching experience in Los Angeles County. I started in the education field as a teachers assistant and from there learned I wanted to make a bigger impact as a teacher of record. I am now a high school physical educator.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style prioritizes classroom and behavior management. I then look to gradually relinquish control and create an environment that is student centered. I strongly believe learning retention is increased when students have the opportunity to grow into autonomous thinkers and doers. My teaching style also includes technology integration that fosters creativity and critical thinking (be sure to ask me how you can implement tech. in your physed realm)!
