25 + years of teaching grades 4-6. I've taught split classes, gifted clusters, ML clusters, looped with my classes, taught ASB, had buddy classes in both kindergarten and 1st grade. I was a para educator for a year as I was getting my teaching degree and Masters. I've collaborated on several science curriculums with community partners to make learning community and grade specific. I've been a ELA lead, on building leadership teams and coordinated school-wide events and projects through my work as our ASB coordinator.
I've always been an advocate of integrated curriculum and making learning relevant for students.

I've been teaching elementary school for over 25 years. Mostly, I've taught in grades 4-6. I've seen the pendulum swing on all kinds of educational theories and the pressures in teaching change too. The trick is putting all this knowledge together, making learning relevant, fun and challenging for each student. This is when MAGIC happens in the classroom!
