TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught in Primary schools for 9 years, was Principal for 5 years, and have worked for the last 9 years in an Adult Literacy organisation in Western Australia, teaching volunteers how to help adults improve their literacy skills. Literacy is my passion - I love to see individuals, whether they are children or adults, improve in their reading and writing.

I believe literacy is best taught with plenty of scaffolding and support, along with masses of praise and encouragement!
