Out of La La Land

I have more than 12 years of teaching experience teaching general education, special education and gifted students a variety of subjects. These include: reading, writing, science, art and social studies. I also helped write curriculum for New York City Department of Education Scope and Sequence Publication..

My teaching style is eclectic. I become whatever I need to in an effort to differentiate instruction and get the job done. Depending on the population and topic, I may a transform myself into a demonstrator, facilitator or delegator. I believe students learn best when they are invested in the purpose, process and product.
