TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I spent a year taking a course on Orton Gillingham. When I completed the course I began tutoring kids, mostly dyslexic students. I also started a blog called www.OGforAll.com, because I believe everyone can benefit from the Orton Gillingham approach to learning phonics, reading, spelling, and writing. I believe it is a thorough approach to the English language. I hope teachers everywhere will become familiar with Orton Gillingham and love it as much as I do.

In addition to writing a blog about Orton Gillingham since 2013 (www.ogforall.com), I also have two published books, Mom's Soul Cafe, mom went zen so she wouldn't go crazy, and a children's book, Slant the Ant, based on a poem I wrote for my kids when they were young. I also lead meditations.
