I feel that I was destined to teach and will always be a teacher in some fashion. I first tried to teach at 10 but was very impatient. I started tutoring at 13 and then tutored at a nonprofit at the age of 20 whole serving active duty. It led me to a teaching career. I entered the school system as a tutor & substitute in 2006. Afterwards, I became a teacher assistant. Then, I became a special education teacher by 2007.
My teaching style is to be connected, creative, and committed. I’m a very animated person in the classroom but still serious about my students’ success.

In addition to teaching, I’m a workshop facilitator. My workshops focus on building self-love, self-awareness, and selfishness for women. My desired outcome is to empower women to be better to improve communities. This is ideal for sororities or other organizations.
