I hold a Ph.D. in mathematics, and I have taught at the collegiate level for over 18 years and taught at middle schools and high schools. I have written solution guides, and I am currently writing a textbook for discrete mathematics. I have taught math subjects ranging from basic mathematics to higher theoretical mathematics. I specialize in teaching calculus, discrete math, linear algebra, precalculus, trigonometry, and other subjects. I have taught these subjects for several years, and I know common areas where students tend to struggle in these courses.

My teaching style is one that helps the student to develop the idea instead of teaching how students how they should think. I have found that individuals tend to remember mathematical concepts better when discovering the explanation. I feel that one-on-one interaction can sometimes better address a student's needs than teaching a large group. This interaction will allow us to dig into the material so that you will understand the concepts when it comes time to take an exam.
