25 years in Secondary Education in an inner city school. During my career I have taught all levels of American History and currently teach Honors and Advanced Placement American History. MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to incorporate a variety of activities into my lessons and use technology as often as possible. I teach AP United States History, Honors Pre-IB U.S. History, and IB Psychology SL. I like to use technology in the classroom and decided to specialize in Internet/Computer based assignments in my store. I do have a variety of other assignments and activities for hands on teaching as well.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Firestone High School Teacher of the Year 2010 IB Examiner for Psychology 100% Pass rate for IB Psychology in May of 2018 Ranked "Accomplished" by the State of Ohio teacher ranking system for four years in a row. Not really a fan of the system but glad to be ranked with the top rating.
