TEACHING EXPERIENCE

15+ years in different K-12 situations. From on a cart, to the cafeteria stage, to a windowless room, to a freezing cold room, I've taught music in through it all. I love doing projects with students that get them thinking!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm pretty frugal, so I try to put as much as I can on a piece of paper and be detailed enough for students to follow on their own. (Just in case they were talking during directions :-) )

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I won a $500 Golden Apple award which started my collection of ukuleles for the kiddos to use!
