ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a homeschooling mom of four and a former pharmacist. I try to keep my lessons in line with some of my favorite early childhood education approaches, which are primarily Charlotte Mason, Waldorf and Montessori. To me, this means feeding the young child's innate curiosity, love for nature and drive to imagine and play. This also means visual and tactile learning; using manipulatives wherever possible. And of course, following the child's lead to gauge interest and readiness. I believe that early learning should be playful and stress-free.
