TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching math at a community college for over 20 years, covering pre-algebra through Calculus II and everything in between. I also have a daughter in middle school, and whenever I have been able, I've worked on the grade-school level circuits with the teachers at her school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style varies, but is often based on traditional lecture-discussion format. I've tried a lot of different styles and strategies over the past 20 years, and I know that students learn by doing! I've been working to include more active learning in my courses in the past few years.
