TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching high school French for 10 years. I teach French 1- French 4 AP. My strengths are in organization and coming up with new ways to get the material to stick for the students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Organized, creative and animated. High standards for my students. I try and focus on getting students to understand ENGLISH grammar so that it's easier for them to understand FRENCH grammar!

I have been selected for the Top 10 Teacher Luncheon 3 times in 5 years. Students select their most influential teacher over their career and the district honors teacher and student with lunch.

I lived in France from 2003-2004 teaching English in a French high school. I have traveled with students to France in 2009 and 2012 in a program that allowed them to each live with a family for 5 days of immersion.
