I’ve taught first grade for seven years and subbed prior to teaching full-time. I currently teach in sunny Southern California at a charter school as the STEM Teacher. I absolutely love teaching! I love the kids, the challenges, the triumphs, and the learning for both the students and teachers. I also enjoy mentoring new teachers and sharing strategies, classroom management tips and learning from them. I strongly believe that teaching includes engaging lesson planning and prep work. With TPT, I am able to create and share resources that have proven to be successful with my students. When creating prep work, I focus on the greater concepts that incorporate multiple disciplines and learning targets. Like many teachers, I have an eye for detail and pay attention to presentation, which is why you will see high quality, carefully-developed resources on my page. I love sharing and developing content, so please feel free to drop a comment or add ratings as I appreciate the feedback. Thank you for visiting my page, and please follow my store! Happy teaching!
My teaching is composed of creating a warm, supportive environment while holding my students accountable for their learning. I set clear expectations and use positive reinforcements with my students.
My proudest moments teaching are watching my students learn and grow.
