My life is a myriad of opportunities and experiences, from reservation schools, to homeschooling and rural based Head Start, charter, public, private, Montessori and an educational professor, ECH, Montessori, Elementary, science and so much more. I am project learning tree certified and have my Masters of Science in Education, specializing in Montessori. I feel the key role in education right now, is peace education, however we can attain that, it should be our primary goal. Growing up in traditional models, I found my way as a very spiritual being being challenged by non-spiritual based formulas. Religion and Spirit are not the same. So, the word, soul essence of the student seems to me better used. When we honor the soul essence of the individual, we can co-create a better world, one moment, one lesson, one experience, one relationship at a time. I have learned to merge the best of traditional models, non- traditional models such as Montessori, Regio Emilio, Waldorf, Head Start, PLT and so much more. I feel we should mold the method to the student not the student to the method.

I work with my husband on sustainable projects, eco living, learning new systems, and educational support as well as a myriad of hobbies. These range from drama, to gardening, to RP and writing. I am the mother of 4 beautiful children and others that came into my circle, from foreign exchange students, to siblings of partners and I love being a mother and teacher, I am so grateful that these human beings walked the path with me. My husband, also, has been a past educator and was teacher of the year for two years running in the German after school programs.
