My Spanish Island

I have been teaching Spanish since 2011. I started off as a private tutor, and then in 2013 I became a Spanish Instructor at a private after school program. I have also taught Spanish in an elementary private school and have done individual lessons. I taught at a private preschool English and Spanish for three years in MN. After Covid I had the opportunity to be part of a great preschool in Parker, Colorado. Pre K was a great experience. Now I'm in Florida exploring my options and creating more resources for all the great teachers out there!

With my younger students, I use a natural approach because they acquire the language naturally and easily. For my older students, the goal is to engage them in the fun adventure of learning a new language mixing TPR and natural approach.

I received a Bachelor's Degree in Design in Chile, but I found my passion in teaching kids when I moved to Hawaii 17 years ago, teaching my own kids. Helping children to achieve a second language is a rewarding mission, and is a gift that will help them through their life in multiple ways.

I am greatly thankful to be sharing my culture and language, while being able to work with children.
