Special Education Teacher working with children with autism and other special needs. I am currently working at Van Nuys Middle in Sherman Oaks, CA My program is considered moderate to severe in the Alternate Curriculum.

Demonstrator or Personal Model. I am interested in encouraging student participation and adapting their presentation to include various learning styles. Students are expected to take some responsibility for learning what they need to know and for asking for help when they don't understand something. Families are always welcome and communication is essential to help students develop new skills across curriculum.

I have learned Google Classroom, by using you tube and information from other teachers. I like the open ware movement, the open university, the freebies in technology that can help me deliver my instruction I am a learner and a student for life.
