As a young and dedicated educator, I have taught PreK-5 general music and 5th grade band for Union County Public Schools in Tennessee for the last 2.5 years. I also serve as a Teacher Ambassador for my county as well as serve as Team Lead for my school's behavioral intervention system. I have experience in woodwind instruction and full-ensemble directing and conducting experience with various ensemble settings, and I am involved in professional music organizations like ETSBOA, Delta Omicron International Music Fraternity, and the Tennessee Wind Symphony.
I believe in an inclusive and diverse music curriculum in which I draw inspiration from John Feierabend, Orff Schulwerk, Gordon, Kodály, and more! I am dedicated to student success and collaboration and ultimately aim to foster appreciation of music and work diligently with students to build a program that encourages musical and academic excellence!
