Since 1996, I have taught varying levels band, choir, elementary music, and owned an early childhood music & movement studio. I have also served as a region band judge, clinician, and private instructor.
My teaching structure strives to support all learning styles. I approach my classroom with acceptance and compassion toward every student and believe music plays an important developmental role in every child. I'm passionate about my teaching process and strive to provide a structured and joyful place where students can feel that their contributions and ideas are important. My method seamlessly combines Kodaly, Orff, and Gordon processes, among others.
