I spent nearly a decade in the classroom working with student of a variety of levels. Whether in a lower-income, urban setting, or in a more affluent, suburban setting, I always strived to make learning fun. After all, learning IS fun! Now that I work with a variety of teachers at a variety of schools as a coach, I aim to make professional learning fun and teacher-driven.
My teaching style incorporates a variety of learner-centered models including PBL (problem-based learning/project-based learning), Genius Hour a.k.a. Passion Projects, hands-on opportunities, educational songs (no joke), and game-based learning.
