I started out my career teaching 10th grade English and enjoyed every second of it. When given the opportunity, I looped up and taught AP English Language and Composition as well. Once I moved out to Colorado, however, I decided to take on a new challenge by moving into 8th grade language arts. I've had many "first years" of teaching, but I love consistently learning something new!
I'm a hands-off teacher and like to let my students figure things out on their own (so long as they have the appropriate resources, of course).
Florida High Impact Teacher, 2014-2015, 2015-2016
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with my B.S. in English Language Arts Education. I'm sure I'll get around to a Master's one of these days...
