TEACHING EXPERIENCE

An educator with over 10 years of experience teaching, coaching, and supervising in New York City public schools, I have dedicated my career to helping teachers and students succeed. As a result of supporting various schools in different environments, I have a deep understanding of the needs of educators and a track record of providing top-quality resources that make a difference in the classroom. I am passionate about education and am always seeking new ways to support the learning and development of students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a student-centered teacher, my focus is always on the individual needs and learning style of each student in my classroom. I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed and I work to provide them with the necessary tools and resources to do so. I also approach teaching with a culturally responsive mindset. I recognize that every student brings their own unique cultural background and experiences to the classroom and I make an effort to incorporate this diversity into my teaching. This means honoring and valuing the cultural traditions and perspectives of my students and using them as a means of enriching the learning experience for everyone.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Creating lessons and resources for teachers and students is like a puzzle. It's a chance to take complex information and ideas and break them down into smaller, more manageable pieces. Each piece represents a different concept or skill, and it's up to the teacher to arrange them in a way that makes sense and is easy for students to understand. The end result is a lesson that is both engaging and effective in helping students learn. It takes creativity, patience, and a lot of hard work, but for those who love the process of creating lessons, it can be a true labor of love.
