My name is Jes Condon and I am a special education teacher. My journey to special education started back when my high school track team worked the local Special Olympics competition. I continued to pursue my passion at Elmhurst College. In December 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and acquired my Illinois Professional Educator License. I have passed the Learning Behavior Specialist I Test and Special Education General Curriculum Test. During my student teaching experience, I worked with students at the elementary and high school levels providing individual, small group, and whole group instruction. Directly after graduation, I started teaching at the high school level. I have been a case for students with all types of needs - social emotional, academic, functional, etc. I work with school personnel and related service providers to develop and revise students’ Individualized Education Plans. For the past two years, I have continued to gain experience as an ALPS teacher and case manager at the elementary level. My experiences have allowed me to work with a variety of students with diverse backgrounds, ranging in all ages, and ability levels. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Hopefully you can find my resources helpful!
Hands on!

I am really passionate about working with students who struggle to learn the traditional way in the classroom because I used to be that student. My resources have helped me understand content and I hope that it can help you or your students too!
