I have taught kindergarten for over a decade. I learn new things about myself, education, and children on a daily basis. I feel like I learn the most from my students; their passion for learning strengthens my own passion.
I try to teach in a hands-on, meaningful way! Personality-wise, I try to stay as upbeat and positive as possible. Kindergarten children can sense negativity, which negatively affects them the rest of the day.
I was nominated my first year for Honor a Teacher by parents and coworkers.
I attended Cleveland State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education Pre-K-3.
