TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in many different classrooms! I student taught in a 3rd grade room as well as a 5th/6th special education room. My first year teaching, I was all over! I started as a 5th grade general education teacher and moved to another school where I became a 6th grade science/ social studies teacher. Then I moved to a kindergarten through 4th grade special education position that was in need of support. I have loved every grade that I have been with and cannot wait to continue teaching!

MY TEACHING STYLE

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I won the heart of a teacher award by Bethel Universities education department. This is a peer nominated award and one elementary education major is selected. This award is presented to individuals who place the needs of others over personal wants and needs, is consistently positive and encouraging to others, and exhibits the Christian qualities one would expect in the heart of a teacher (such as charity, love, joy, compassion, patience, humility, and service).
