TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a public school teacher in AZ for over 7 years. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th grade. For the 2018-2019 school year I am starting a new journey teaching 5th grade for a Traditional program school but I'm sure I will still put my "hands on" learning spin on it.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to make all my lessons as fun and hands on as I can. I teach at an accelerated school so I have to take multiple grade level standards and mash them together therefore upping the rigor. I also have a handful of gifted students and ELL students so I try to create projects that meet a lot of diverse learning needs as well.
