MY TEACHING STYLE

History? Cool story telling. Science? Explaining everyday life. Think back to your own days in the classroom... Who are the teachers you remember the most? Which class is the first that comes to mind? Which activity was your favorite? I believe that student's learn best when they are able to connect on a personal level. ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Hi there! My name is Julie and I am currently an 8th Grade Science teacher in the great state of Texas! I have also had experience with 8th Grade Social Studies and have taught and tutored one on one student's K-12th in all subject areas. School subjects aren't the only I teach- I am a proud dance/drill team teacher and choreographer of 6 years. Although I currently am away from my dancers and miss them so terribly much! I am happily married to a musician, therefore there is always music flowing through our home! When I am not teaching, you can probably find me at the beach, writing, painting, or- let's be honest- eating chocolate and watching Netflix/Hulu/Disney + etc...
