I began my teaching in 2006. Throughout my educational career, I have taught in co-teaching classrooms and direct instruction resource rooms. Students I've worked with range from grades 3-4 and 7-12. Being a student that struggled with math throughout high school, I have oddly found my strength to be teaching junior high and high school students that are math-phobic by making it as visual and hands-on as possible. I am currently in a fully inclusive co-teaching setting and am loving it!
I teach using differentiated instruction and work toward giving students individualized assessments that challenge them, yet give them confidence they are learning.
