I teach kindergarten in a very low poverty school district but I can't imagine being any where else. Before kindergarten I was a Title I teacher for 5th and 6th grade students in math. I have grew up in education my whole life and FULL of ideas! I would say I get that from my mother, who taught for 35 years.
I would say my style is allowing the students to drive their learning with guidance. I try to make lessons as fun as possible and allow students to share their learning experience with other students in the classroom. I believe students gain greater knowledge from sharing and teaching others then sitting and listening to a teacher.
