TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in the education profession since 2001. My experience in the field is vast and diverse. I have taught Special Education, World History, U.S. History, AP U.S. History, Government, Computer Technology and Acting and the Performing Arts at both a middle school and the high school level. I have founded several teen and youth theater intensives, workshop and performing groups. I have had several year experience coaching basketball and soccer as well as directing both musical and dramatic performances. Recently, I have assisted in the implementation of a National Junior Honors Society at my school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a student centered approach to my teaching style. I find that through exploration, motivation and inquiry, students learn more fluidly and with exceptional quality. I find that it is the miles that we travel in the classroom that are more important then the time in which it takes use to travel them.
