TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching art for 12 years. Both Middle school and High school Art. I also have taught as an adjunct professor at the state university of New York at Oswego.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom uses Project Based Learning and goes through an introduction of all mediums.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I am the recipient of the New York State Art Teacher's Association Region 4 Art Teacher of the year award in 2020 and our art department received the district citation award in 2021. I also serve as the portfolio project chair for the state.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a BA in Spanish, BFA in Visual Arts, minor in art history, and Masters in Art Education.
